Students who are performing well on Information and Communication Technology at the
Makerere University and officially recognized by the institution will get scholarship, support and official training from
Huawei. The students will be trained at the Chinese ICT services provider's centers in Uganda, Kenya and South Africa, including the opportunity to study at the
Huawei University in China. The deal is the result of a recent Memorandum of understanding between Huawei and the University.
