This weekend (1st-2nd December) KINU, the World Bank, Water and Sanitation Project, MOHSW, COSTECH, and TANZICT, will be working in conjunction to host the Tanzanian event for the Global Sanitation Hackathon.
The goal of the hackathon is to find innovative technology based solutions to challenges facing the sanitation sector. The Tanzanian event will allow local developers the chance to target their solutions directly to local problems.
The hackathon will run from 9am-12 midnight Saturday and 9am-2pm Sunday. The event concludes with the judging of entries from 2pm, including both local and international prize giving for the best ideas.
