It was a great tech weekend on Friday
and Saturday when young promising tech startup ambitions entertainment hosted
an ICT career fostering event for Dar es Salaam secondary schools students. The
event was hosted at the British Council in Dar es Salaam and involved students
from different secondary schools who participated in quiz, QNA sessions, and
ICT mentoring programs.
Among the coordinators
of the event was Mr. Caesar David a computer expert and pioneer who graduated
from Bangalore India and young energetic youth and the founder of the startup
Ambitions entertainment Mr. Amani
Anaseli Temu the hosts of the event. The event was aiming to promote ICT in
secondary school and creating awareness and interest on technology to the youth
of Tanzania.
The event was very successful, Youth
had a chance to demonstrate their skills and learn new things from their
mentors. At the end of the event certificates and awards were given to the
winners and participants of the seminar. The event was funded and supported by Oryx,
Ambitions, Image Array and Young tourism Network.
