Techno Sunday the
event organized by Tanzanian tech enthusiast is here again for local tech
pioneers to take part. The event will be scheduled to start this year
effectively from this month starting with tomorrow the detailed information is
given by the founder of the initiative Mr. Gonzaga Rugambwa.
TECHNO-SUNDAYS
INTRODUCTION
There are a lot
of things which technology helps in bringing about efficiency and there are
things that among a few people are considered basics but the average person
doesn’t know. There is a need reduce this digital divide to increase
productivity, entrepreneurship and innovation.
TechnoSunday
is a free
technology outreach program whereby participants are taught user friendly
basics of computer, internet and mobile consumer technology. They shall be
taught things which seem to be most critical in using technology for own
personal use or at work, things which are not taught in academic institutes and
sometimes not even (formally) at work. Experts are to offer their services free
of charge. The program shall consist of class
sessions on selected Sundays from 11am – 1pm.

The main aim is to share user-friendly tips in using common technology. Topic areas shall include basic computer hardware, software (e.g. MS office); internet (email, browsing, social media); mobile (devices, applications). Other specialty topics are to be addressed on demand.

You will be given an excel template and shown how to record expenses daily, do budgeting and make monthly to annual cash flow projections.
