Once again
the Obama Campaign Team is proving the power of the internet and the way
technology can influence people’s lives. It was in 2008 when the name Obama was
all over the internet and the influence came up with the result everyone
expected, Obama for America. Four years
later 2012 the stats show the democrats are more conscious on the internet than
rival republicans on Twitter. The scary thing is that the online communication
has been more important than in 2008. Currently Obama he is dominating the online 2012 digital campaign
especially on Twitter.

The stats shows while Mitt Romney’s team
averaged one tweet per day Obama averaged 29 tweets 17 on @BarackObama (the twitter account associated with his presidency) and 12
on @Obama2012 the account
related to its 2012 campaigns.
Obama also
had about twice as many blog posts on his campaign website than did Romney and
more than Twice as many as YouTube videos, researchers said. But more
crucially, the Obama campaign is using digital means to target key groups such
as Hispanics, women voters a problem area for Romney and Young Americans.
